Skiing in the Pitztal

Our guests will find variety, guaranteed snow and state-of-the-art lifts on their skiing holiday in the Pitztal in Tyrol. The Pitztal Glacier is the highest glacier ski area in Austria and offers guaranteed snow from the end of September to the beginning of May. 

Together with the Rifflsee ski area, it offers varied skiing fun with cosy places to stop for refreshments against an impressive natural backdrop. The highest point and architectural highlight is Cafe 3440, where you can enjoy homemade cakes and the best view of the Wildspitze and the majestic peaks of the Ötztal Alps. Thanks to the ideal location, you can reach both ski areas quickly and easily, even without a car.

Naturally the best snow quality - the altitude makes the difference
Due to the altitude of the Pitztal ski areas - 90% of the pistes are above 2000 metres - the snow quality of the ski pistes is particularly good. Even early in the season, the wide natural snow pistes offer the best skiing enjoyment and when skiing in the sun at the end of the season, the grippy pistes make you want more.
